Half of the training is about outdoor lighting design. From visual objects, light placement, levels of lighting, lighting bridge, sub scenes and more. This goes well beyond simply putting up lights pointing at the house, but learning the fundamentals that will help you in every single interaction in outdoor lighting. - The Business of Selling Landscape Lighting:
We will explore the proposals and designs that can land jobs from 20 fixtures to over 200 fixtures. Not only the proposal but how it's delivered and the entire process from start to finish and how we take the average job and make it extra ordinary. We will explore the apps and CRM Captain Matt uses, see how he does a demo, and discuss knowing your numbers and pricing your jobs. - Night time Demonstrations:
To develop confidence in your abilities within the landscape lighting design we will head outside when the sun goes down to real properties to participate in a night time demo where we use battery operated lights to cement what you learned that day about landscape lighting. Easily test out the difference between side lighting, back lighting, front lighting, and more. - Installation:
We will install actual lights into the ground at a property. This will involve mounting power drivers, running cable, burying lines, placing and installing fixtures, and learning how to set yourself up for future considerations during an installation. - Product Knowledge:
You will have time to explore products, see them in action, ask questions, learn the differences on different power kits, and how to take an ordinary fixture and make it unique with other non lighting products. - Job Take Off Process:
Be there as we prepare a job for the day and see the process and apps used to keep everything in order and to make sure we don't forget anything for the installation. - Your lunches and 1 dinner are included!:
