WEEK #1:
Pre-School
Here you will prepare and get everything ready for the challenge. You'll prep your tools, prep your demo kit, and start discussing the concepts of the science of lighting design.
Additionally; you'll be introduced to the others in the challenge. We know that no one is on an island and knowing there are others going through the same thing can be a great motivator and encouragement.
WEEK #2:
Elementary School
You'll be doing your first demo this week! This won't just be a demo you never think of again. One of your leaders will review and critique the demos with tips and what else you could try!
You will also learn planning for the wire needed at your job site, how to light different elements, distance from structures for lights, and up lighting and down lighting!
WEEK #3:
Middle School
Now you get to utilize your personilzed critique videos to go out and use in the wild! More than simply on a computer screen.
During middle school we will also start to teach you how to do proposals and how to price a job! Not just price by fixture with a made up amount, but by using YOUR ACTUAL EXPENSES to create a pricing sheet that will allow you to know your break-even pricing and your profit pricing. WEEK #4:
Freshman
You guessed it, more demos! You will never hear a leader in this trade school disregard the power of a demo and how pivotal it can be for growing your revenue.
As a freshman you'll also be doing proposals along with learning about viewing angles, lighting different types of trees, levels of lighting, how to plan installs for your crew, and how to order and job cost.
WEEK #5:
Sophomore
You will learn the 7 deadly sins of lighting! You will better understand and prepare yourself for speaking with your clients and reviewing existing lighting jobs to tweak and optimize.

Junior

Senior
The final week of high school! We know most people will be high school drop outs and never make it to senior year, but for the truly dedicated and inspired you will learn how to do final walk throughs and sell your clients even more!
It is also time for your final exam. Let's see what you learned and what you retained during your 45 day lighting challenge.
